This is the most fragile musical project I've ever created. Unlike the rock and grunge scene I'm used to, Enira is more romantic and melancholic. While some of the songs in this project are brand new, others -or at least pieces of them- were written somewhere in the last decade. Home-recorded and then put away for many years. For no one to hear.
Until now.
With a selection of seven songs, I got in touch with Wim Van Deuren, who had just finished touring with the well known Belgian band The Scabs. Wim was eager to produce the album and created beautiful piano arrangements for the chosen songs. For months Wim and I worked together. With great care a group of session musicians was selected and invited to the studio. The recordings of the first album, entitled 'For All Lost Time', took over one year.
The album was released on August 31th, 2018.
Enjoy!
Kurt.
